Your HotJobs account information can be automatically transferred to Monster in early 2011. Opt in today and we will transfer the information for you at that time. And, don't worry, we will transfer the latest information at the time of transfer so any updates you make to your profile and resume between now and the date of transfer will be saved.
We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Once you have consented to transfer your HotJobs information, you will continue to receive the emails with details about the transfer, including notification of when the transfer will take place in early 2011.
We've also built in numerous safeguards for your information. If you already have a Monster account that uses the same email address, we won't overwrite it by transferring your HotJobs information. We will only transfer information if you don't have a Monster account or if your Monster account uses a different email address. Our goal is to make this transition as easy as possible for you.
Each eligible entry will be referred to herein as (“Entry”), and collectively as (“Entries”).
There is a limit of one (1) entry per email address during the Promotion Period. If it is suspected that an entrant uses multiple e-mail addresses to submit more than one entry in the Promotion, only the first entry will count. In the event of a dispute over who submitted a winning online entry, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to participate in Promotion at the actual time of entry, will be deemed to be the entrant. The authorized account subscriber for online entries is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof to Sponsor’s satisfaction of being the authorized account subscriber may be requested by Sponsor.
No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, stolen, postage due mail, or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. Proof of entry submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt of entry by Sponsor.
The odds of becoming "The Monster+HotJobs ‘Big Opportunity' Sweepstakes" Winner depend on the number of Entries received as of the Drawing Date.
Winner is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use that are not specified herein as being awarded. If Winner is not available or able to accept the Prize, Winner privileges will be terminated and an alternative winner may be selected from among the remaining Entrants.
Administrator will attempt to contact the potential winner via the telephone number and/or e-mail address provided per the Entrant’s submission at the Administrators sole discretion. If a potential winner cannot be reached directly, the potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, from among the remaining applicable Entries received if time permits.
Winner also must acknowledge that Promotion Entities have not and will not obtain or provide insurance of any kind relating to the Prizes and that the Winner will be responsible for obtaining and paying for any life, travel, car accident, property or other form of insurance relating to the Prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to delay the announcement of the Winner for any reason Sponsor deems necessary.
The value of the Prize will be taxable to Winner as income. Winner must supply Administrator and/or Sponsor with their social security number for tax purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of Winner for the actual value of the Prize awarded if the actual value of Prize is over $600. All federal, state and local taxes, and any other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and/or use of Prize not specifically provided for in these Official Rules are solely the Winner’s responsibility.
Entrants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Promotion Entities from any and all liability arising out of or relating in any way to entrant’s participation in Promotion, and to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against Promotion Entities. Entrant understands that under no circumstances shall s/he have any rights to maintain any cause of action against Sponsor or anyone else by virtue of the terms of this agreement or anything done pursuant thereto. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for and will disqualify entries that are: stolen, late, lost, illegible, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, damaged, destroyed, delayed, misdirected, not received, postage due mail entries, or that have incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in Promotion, or by any human, mechanical or electronic error which may occur in the processing of the entries in Promotion, or other errors appearing within the Official Rules or in any Promotion related advertisements. Promotion Entities assume no responsibility for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of Promotion, errors in processing entries, identifying the Winner, in the announcement of the Prizes and Winner, and the delivery of the Prizes, any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer systems, online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or players on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any web site, or any combination thereof, including, without limitation, any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in Promotion. Use of any device to automate or subvert entry is prohibited and any entries received by such means will be void. No software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated entries are permitted and any entries received by such means will be void. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person they suspect or find: (i) to have used a software generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated entry; (ii) to have tampered with the entry process or the operation of Promotion; (iii) to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person; (iv) to display behavior that will bring such Winner or Promotion Entities into disgrace; (v) to have provided inaccurate information on any legal documents submitted in connection with Promotion; or (vi) to be acting in violation of these Official Rules. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY A WINNER WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE PROMOTION AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS A WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE CONTENT OR LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR WILL DISQUALIFY ANY SUCH ENTRANT, AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON OR PERSONS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITED BY LAW. THE MASSACHUSETTS COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE PROMOTION AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS SHALL GOVERN THE PROMOTION. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTSIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THESE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THESE COURTS.
